WEVID [Weaving Inquiries in Design] is a platform that develops and delivers programs for wholistic development of designers. WEVID periodically introspects into academia and profession of design and incubates programs in effective module formats of workshops, lectures, exhibitions and publications which equip designers with qualitative augmented learning.
The initiatives of WEVID are multidisciplinary and constantly addresses the evolving demands of the design industry. Programs are curated and incubated by WEVID through constant interaction with the program beneficiaries like students and faculty of design as well as the designers in the industry. The programs are curated by experts engaged closely with the design industry and are offered in collaboration with WEVID. With close to two decades of experience in practice and academia, Nandita heads and leads the initiatives and programs at WEVID.

Nandita has engaged herself in industry relevant research and design consultancy in Architecture and Interior Design as an Architect, Academician and Architectural Journalist for close to two decades. After garnering her Masters Degree in Interior Architecture from University of Oregon, USA and valuable teaching & work experience in USA, she returned to India in 2004 and set up her own practice 'Design Edge' while renewing her teaching assignments in India.
She has contributed many articles for magazines, design journals & national newspapers in India on architecture and interior design and has authored two books on architecture. Nandita has been awarded the A3 Foundation Architectural Journalism Award 2013 – 14, a national level award for achievement and contribution to the field of Architectural Journalism in the Professional Category.
Nandita has carved a special place for herself as an exceptional educator owing to her dedication and teaching approach. She has presented many research papers in national and international conferences.
Being a meticulous organiser and optimistic enthusiast, Nandita extends her creative practice to varied mediums like typography, design thinking and graphic design as well. She curates and has put together many architectural exhibitions which she envisions as a spatial narrative of her written expression.
